The Story of Ming-Wei Yen
ᐧ Longing for the Taiwanese Sunset ᐧ
“In Taiwan, the school was quite close to the ocean, so for me the waves within that ocean are a very important memory. I want to try to use a different language to describe this feeling.”
“唯一小可惜的是巴黎不靠海。我在台灣大學時,那朝海的霞光是如此無法忘懷,也讓我想用不同的語言去抒發。”

The EQ Hub documents the creative and cultural life of cities through the people who shape them. From Amsterdam's canal-lined streets, cycling culture and world-class cultural institutions to Manila's tropical metropolis, jeepney culture, contemporary Filipino creativity and a renewed sense of Filipino identity, we explore cities in constant flux through conversations, essays and local stories. By embracing the juxtaposition between these two urban landscapes, EQ Hub creates intimate portraits of place · the beginning of a growing collection celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and the everyday people who quietly shape the cities they call home.
